Science Philosophy: All science is taught from a creationist, Christian / Biblical worldview while making students aware of other worldviews. The objective is to teach students to see the Hand of the Creator in all of nature. Classes at all levels are instructional, while stressing hands-on lab activities during each class. Students who follow Science Partners' comprehensive science education plan will progress through the Life, Biological, Physical, Earth, and Marine Sciences, covering scientific information in a sequence similar to public and private schools. Students in grades 3-8 will study Life and Biological Sciences on Track A and Earth or Physical Sciences on Track B, alternating each year at grade level. Biology and Marine Science at SeaWorld are offered each year for high school students. Biology is a prerequisite for Marine Science at SeaWorld.
2010-2011 Track B classes for grades 3-8 meet weekly for one and a half hours. Biology for grades 9-12 meets weekly for two hours. You may choose from three days and two locations. If a student misses a weekly class, he or she may be able to make the class up on another day during the same week. Call to check on availability. Marine Science at SeaWorld classes for grades 10-12 meet monthly for four and a half hours at SeaWorld except for two classes that are all-day field trips. You may choose between two time periods. REGISTRATION FEE for science classes is $150 for a single student or $125 each for two or more students from the same family. Fee covers use of textbook (grades 5-12), lab equipment, supplies, and Creation magazine (one per family). For marine science students, it also includes presentations, field trips, and SeaWorld behind-the-scenes activities.
MONTHLY TUITION is due on the first day of each month for ten months, August through May, and late on the 10th with $5 per student late fee . Please make checks payable to Science Partners. Tuition may be turned in during class or mailed to Science Partners, 343 Allison Avenue, Longwood, FL 32750.
Grades 3-8: Tuition is $65 per month or $650 per year per student. You may save $25 by making a single tuition payment of $625 by the first class. Grades 9-12: Tuition is $75 per month or $750 per year per student. You may save $25 by making a single tuition payment of $725 by the first class.

MONDAYS - LONGWOOD: Monday classes for grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12 Biology meet at First Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs, 900 North Street, Longwood 32750 (between Highway 427 and Palm Springs Drive). Weekly classes meet 32 times on Mondays with the exception of Labor Day, when classes will meet on Thursday of that week. Classes for grades 3-8 meet for one and a half hours, and classes for high school biology meet for two hours. Open House will be held at FBC of Altamonte Springs in Longwood.
TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS - ORLANDO: Tuesday and Wednesday classes for grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12 Biology meet at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 3900 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando 32835 (across from Turkey Lake Park, four miles south of Highway 408 / East-West Expressway). Weekly classes meet 32 times on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, coordinating with other classes offered at this location. (See www.prhe.net for information on other classes.) Classes for grades 3-8 meet for one and a half hours, and classes for high school biology meet for two hours. Open House will be held at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church in Orlando.
FRIDAYS - SEAWORLD: Friday marine science classes for grades 10-12 meet once a month at SeaWorld, 7007 SeaWorld Drive, Orlando 32821. Classes meet ten times on Friday from August through May from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM or from 1:30 - 6:00 PM except for two classes that are all-day field trips. Open House will be held at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 3900 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando 32835 (across from Turkey Lake Park, four miles south of Highway 408 / East-West Expressway). High school biology is a prerequisite. Each student needs a SeaWorld annual pass.

In order to dress for modesty, mobility, and safety, science students are required to wear a uniform. It consists of:
1. SHIRT: Navy polo shirt (tucked in) with Science Partners’ logo from Lands’ End. Click on link above for ordering information.
2.
PANTS: Khaki colored shorts or long pants (no “hip-huggers” or “low risers”). Shorts must come close to the knee. Girls may also wear Capri pants (no skirts, skorts, culottes, dresses, or jumpers). Pants may be purchased from Lands’ End, but that is not required. Many local stores have “uniform” lines of clothing where you may purchase pants. Please make sure they are “plain” with no extra buckles, bows, etc.3.
SHOES: Lace up, closed toe, and closed heel shoes (such as tennis or athletic shoes). No skate shoes are allowed.PLEASE NOTE:
Tuesday and Wednesday Humphreys Junior High students may wear HJH uniforms that meet Science Partners’ dress code. (See above.) Shirt must be “polo” type, preferably navy (tucked in). Pants or shorts must be khaki colored (no skirts, skorts, culottes, dresses, or jumpers). Shoes must be lace up, closed toe, and closed heel (such as tennis or athletic shoes). No skate shoes are allowed.
