1. SELECT AN EVENT: FIELD STUDY OR WORKSHOP.

Cost for each field study varies depending on location and activities included. See link above.
Minimum number of paying participants (adults and children) varies. It is generally around 35 for day trips and 25 for overnighters.
Registration deadline for minimum number of paying participants is usually four weeks before the scheduled activity.
Maximum number depends on several factors such as the activities planned, boat capacity, bus capacity, etc. It is usually between 47-60 for day trips and 30-50 for overnighters.
Late registrations are accepted, space permitting.
Some events may also have a minimum age requirement.

Cost for a three-hour workshop is free for 3 years and under and $7 per person for 4 years and up (children and adults).
Minimum charge for a workshop is $300 or 40 participants.
Maximum number for a workshop is 80.

Depending on your time frame, we can schedule a snack or lunch break.
Two Workshops on the Same Day:
Participants may come to either one or both of the workshops.
Cost for one workshop is free for 3 years and under and $7 per person for 4 years and up (children and adults) OR
Cost for two workshops is free for 3 years and under and $12 per person for 4 years and up (children and adults).
Minimum charge for two workshops on the same day is $500 or 40 participants for each workshop.
Maximum number for each workshop is 80.

Bring lunch. We will have a morning workshop, break for lunch, and then an afternoon workshop.
Workshop Travel Expenses:
Science Partners' home office is in Longwood, north of Orlando. If your workshop site is 50 miles or less roundtrip, there is no mileage charge. If your site is over 50 miles roundtrip, the charge is $ .50 per mile for the amount OVER 50 miles. Your group may choose to pay the mileage expense separately or add enough to your registration fee per person to cover the amount. Please contact Science Partners if your location will involve air travel or overnight stays.
2. SELECT A DATE.
Creation Adventures (field studies or workshops) are usually scheduled on Fridays, but there are a limited number of other open dates listed on the web site calendar. Mondays through Wednesdays are generally unavailable due to weekly homeschool science classes in Longwood on Mondays and Orlando on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. One Friday of the month is also unavailable due to monthly high school Marine Science at SeaWorld classes.

Homeschool Groups. When your event is confirmed, it will be posted on the web site calendar so your group members may print off registration forms. Each family can fill out a form and mail it along with the registration fee to the address listed on the form. (Some groups choose to collect the registrations and mail them all at once to Science Partners.)
Christian Schools or Churches. Individual forms are not necessary. Your group may submit one check to Science Partners. Please let us know if you need an invoice.
